Itinerary
Welcome to the Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of 'Exotic Kashmir'. You will be transferred to Houseboat. After lunch enjoy a romantic ' shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Today after breakfast, proceed for full day excursion for Sonamarg, also called "Meadow of Gold", Sonamarg is located at 9000 ft. against snow-clad mountains, with the Sindh River rich in trout and mahseer flowing. One can (own cost) to visit a major attraction especially during the summers, where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Return back to Srinagar. Enjoy a hearty dinner, enjoy a pleasurable overnight stay at the hotel.
Relish a sumptuous breakfast, is scheduled for a day visit to Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesue market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. It has world highest Golf Course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing. One can take the Gondola Ride (optional tour) up to Alapather via Khilanmarg. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some Horse Riding (own cost) to the strawberry valley. Return back to Srinagar. Relish a sumptuous dinner, retire for the day. An exciting day awaits you tomorrow.
Breakfast at the hotel, day at leisure or some shopping near places then proceed to your onward journey.
